Re.Cork is a top made of a cork-based composite containing up to 40% in volume of cork and a bio-based or recycled polymer as a binder. Cork granules are obtained from the recovery of by-products and residues from the production of cork stoppers, and the polymers are produced from renewable sources or recycled materials.
This range provides thought-out end-of-life solutions. Each polymeric binding is specifically selected depending on the requested raw material origin and product end of life: mechanical recycling, home and industrial composting.
Using cork, which has a negative carbon balance, and other eco-friendly materials, Re.Cork tops are an excellent alternative to plastic capsules, with a significantly lower carbon footprint and lower energy consumption during the injection moulding process.
Allowing great customisation, Re.Cork tops can be coloured, textured and decorated with branding, including hot stamping and laser engraving.
Customisable and 100% sustainable, they offer a lower carbon footprint and a longer lifecycle—an ideal alternative to standard bartops.
